Basic Bookkeeping Assistant
The Basic Bookkeeping Assistant Program provides the skills and workforce preparation needed for careers in accounting support occupations.
You will gain knowledge in the basics of manual and electronic bookkeeping, recording daily business transactions, accounts receivables/payables, balance sheets/financial statements, payroll, and Quickbooks. The curriculum also prepares you for a pathway to credit business programs.

Required Courses (two required courses):
- BUSN 7508 - Quickbooks Essentials
- And one of the following: BUSN 7308 - Basic Bookkeeping -OR- BUSN 7509-Payroll Essentials
Recommended Electives:
- BUSN 7501 - Math Essentials for the Workplace
- BUSN 7307 - Basic Business Math
A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon successful completion of all required courses.
